About Noelle Beadling
I am a lactation counselor, a postpartum doula and an infant craniosacral therapist. I am also a licensed massage therapist, traditional Thai massage therapist and professional yoga instructor (Hatha and Kundalini styles) with over a decade and a half of experience. I work with people of all ages and stages of life, though I began to focus a larger portion of my work toward the mama-baby dyad in 2023 in order to support health, wellness, and optimum early development. With my postpartum care offerings, I combine my many years of experience as a bodyworker and yoga instructor with my expertise in all things postpartum health related.
In 2007 I received my massage license in the state of Oregon after graduating from East West College of the Healing Arts. That same year I completed my certification as a yoga instructor by attending trainings at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja, Mexico. In 2009 I received training as an infant craniosacral therapist from Carol Gray, midwife and craniosacral therapist extraordinaire. I later went on to complete a 2+ year certification course in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, which I finished in 2012. For 8 years I ran a private practice in Portland, OR, then I relocated back to my hometown, Portsmouth, NH, in 2013. Once home, I opened my own private practice here on the Seacoast, and what a joy it has been to serve my home community!
I have always had a deep love for travel, and one trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico would change my life forever. In 2021 I met my husband there! Fast forward to 2023, and I underwent the rite of passage of becoming a mother, after years of dreaming of motherhood. However, as so often is the case, my birth plan did not go as, well, planned. So I began my healing journey wherein I realized the true value and power of high quality postpartum support. That is truly what inspired me to eventually shift my career focus from being primarily a bodyworker and yoga instructor to being a postpartum care provider, lactation counselor, and also to go deeper into my passion and work as an infant craniosacral therapist. In my journey of completing my education and credentials, I also discovered how much misinformation is out there, and how some of my well-meaning helpers during my postpartum period were highly misguided in their advice and guidance. I have also discovered this is far too common, and it has become one of my personal missions to close this gap and to provide current, evidence-based information to my clients so they may make their own informed choices on how to support their child in his or her growth in this precious time.
As a new doula, I am offering free and sliding scale postpartum support to my community as I grow my circle of mamas and deepen into this sacred work. For current offerings, please click here. I am also available for massage therapy, traditional Thai massage (also one of my passions! Thai bodywork and healing) and craniosacral therapy for adults. While my focus is now more with the mamatotos (Swahili term for mom and baby - as one), and their immediate families, I continue to see clients for bodywork and private yoga upon request. You may book an individual appointment here.
Thank you for your interest in my work. I hope to hear from you soon!
Warmly.
